THEY INSIST: REFUSE IMITATIONS! --Jamaican and rapper covers.--

In Jamaican history music we can find a lot of versions of other musics, because bands/artists/producers like to imitate black music, and also making rock&roll and disco covers. This is a mixtape full of reggae and rap covers (and some RMX) of all music styles, including groups like The Beatles, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Sprinsteeng, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley,etc...

Some years ago (2006) the web www.bcn-reggae.com made a mixtape contest, and a lot of sounds and selectors of all the world send our tapes. The web give us only 40 minutes to make our selection: this is the mixtape that i send to the contest, amd here you can find 40 minutes of all jamaican styles, from early years to dancehall, even digital or raggamuffin (and also and rare interlude of flamenco :/ )
